We will be highlighting our student entrepreneurs who are members of the Accelerator program. The Accelerator is for any Belmont undergraduate student who is launching or running a business. This program is for students who are dedicated to learning and growing a business. Membership includes dedicated office space, consistent time with our Entrepreneur in Residence Shawn Glinter, and resources and opportunities to take your business to the next level!
Jessica Christian is Freshman studying entrepreneurship and dance from Nashville, TN. She is currently founding RoyalFlush Athletics.
What does your business do?
RoyalFlush is an athletic and fitness company that designs fitness wear built for ANY type of physical activity. It also 100% customizable.
How long have you been working on this business?
Almost 2 years.
Did you always know you wanted to start a business? If not, when did you realize it?
No, I realized I wanted to be the owner of my own company when I found out I hated working for other people.
Where do you hope your business will be at the end of the year in The Accelerator?
I hope The Accelerator gives me a stepping stool to actually get RoyalFlush off the ground and hopefully be up and running.

Did you have any crazy business ideas as a kid?
Yes, I wanted to create a popsicle that never melted.
Who is your biggest inspiration in business?
My biggest inspiration in business would be Rihanna, she balances her music career as well as running her own record label and clothing line.
What business or product do you wish had been your idea?
I wish I was the creator of the iPhone, they make a ton of money.
Advice for other student entrepreneurs?
My advice for other students is greatness takes time, pain, and patients. An elephant is one of the biggest and most respected animals. When they give birth it takes two year but the outcome is beautiful, Just wait and trust the process.
